EUDR at Reflex

Current status of EUDR at Reflex
November 2025

Dear business partners

The new EU Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on deforestation-free supply chains (“EUDR”) is expected to come into force at the end of this year. As a medium-sized company with a long tradition, we take our responsibility for the environment, climate, and human rights very seriously.

We are working intensively to implement all legal requirements in a timely manner and to design our processes in such a way that you, our customers, receive the necessary legal certainty.

From December 30, 2025, we will be fully EUDR-compliant.

Our path to EUDR implementation

  • Our path to EUDR implementation
  • We are aware of the EUDR requirements and are consistently aligning our processes accordingly.
  • Our goal is to provide you with the necessary information so that you can easily fulfill your own compliance obligations.
  • To this end, we are currently developing the integration of reference and verification numbers into our ERP system. These will be shown in the appendix to our delivery notes in the future.
If you require interfaces to third-party providers, please contact us.
  • As things stand at present, the transfer of geodata is not necessary. The authorities are satisfied with the submission of the reference numbers.
  • We already keep track of production and batch numbers for all relevant products. System upgrades are underway and will be completed in time for us to be fully prepared when the EUDR comes into force.
  • For the export of our products that are placed on the market for the first time during the transition period between the entry into force of the EUDR (June 29, 2023) and its application date on December 30, 2025, we use a universal reference number. You can specify this in your due diligence declaration.

The “common reference number” published by the EU Commission is: 99EU9999999999.

Sustainability standards

  • All relevant Reflex products have been FSC® certified for many years.
  • This certification and other measures ensure that our products do not originate from the following sources:
    • Illegally logged forests
    • Forests where human rights have been violated
    • Areas of high conservation value
    • Conversion to plantations or non-forestry use
    • Use of genetically modified trees
